Savita Dabas – Bringing The New Generation Fitness Regime to Goa

Coming from an educated background, Savita went on to become a fitness freak which leads her to set up  Goa’s first Pilates Studio in the capital city Panjim. There will be many a gym and fitness centre in Goa but having set one up from passion is different. Before setting up the studio, Savita herself went through a rigorous training programme under professionals to understand the concept and once sure, only then did she decide to set up her own fitness studio.

How often to workout depends on what your goals and objectives are! Most experts agree that 3-5 times per week is sufficient. You should exercise for the duration of 20-60 minutes at 50- 85% of you’re heart rate. However, the frequency of your workouts will depend on your fitness level and your schedule. Beginners should start with about 3 non-consecutive days of cardio and work their way up to more frequent sessions.

Fitness is the concept that is hugely misinterpreted, and each individual has his own way of defining it but, We all have an idea of what “FIT” should look like. For some people, it means having a sleek and the kind of bodies, they show it in the movies, while others want to have massive muscles or a perfect hourglass figure. What an individual needs to understand is that fitness is not just about one thing but it comprises of 5 facets. These 5 facets of fitness, needs to improve in a human being for him or her to be deemed as a person who has become fitter.
