The vibrant spirit of Goan cinema is set to take centre stage once again, as the 10th, 11th, and 12th Editions of the Goa State Film Festival roll out from August 14 to 17, 2025, in a spectacular celebration of regional storytelling, artistic brilliance, and cinematic exploration.

Organized by the Department of Information & Publicity, Government of Goa, and executed by the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), this year’s festival promises to be bigger and bolder, shining a powerful spotlight on Konkani and Marathi filmsthe lifeblood of Goa’s cinematic expression.

A Platform for Goan Voices

With screenings set across the iconic Maquinez Palace Theatre and INOX, Panaji, the festival will showcase a curated selection of 19 Konkani and Marathi feature films and 4 non-feature films, all competing for honours across 21 feature and 7 non-feature award categories.

The competition line-up features a powerful mix of fresh talent and seasoned voices, highlighting Goa’s evolving cinematic language:
