Mangirish Salelkar, the first generation entrepreneur, breached out his entrepreneurial journey into multiple businesses under the banner of UMANG Group has now open a new office in the capital city of Goa.
Goa’s well known tech company, Umang Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, known for putting this tiny state on the IT map, has now taken another leap into the business by setting up its office in the Panaji.
According to Mr Mangirish Salelkar, the CEO and co-founder of the UMANG Software, Panaji is the business hub of Goa and having its presence in the capital city is the most crucial part of his venture.
“I always wanted to branch out to the capital city, first due to the infrastructure and second availability of the resources,” said Mangirish adding, “Shifting to Panaji was the best move for our company as it will bring lot of good fortune to the company.”
Mangirish strongly believes that there is a huge talent pool that lies in the north of Goa and his presence in Panaji will help him to harness that pool of talent.
“We have seen the rise of Infotech companies in the North Goa and that is purely because of the existence of the Talent Pool in the city. UMANG has now joined the clan and all set to harness that pool of talent from North Goa,” said Mangirish.
Mangirish invites the Goan IT professionals to join the league of UMANG by choosing the option between Margao and Panaji as the new destination of their career growth.
“As UMANG is growing, we’re aiming to hire and give employment to talented techies from the engineering and professional colleges across Goa. We noticed that we were losing some great talent from North Goa. The traveling was difficult for many and this is one of the important factors for many candidates when choosing the location for job, especially when they have career goals in that company.”
UMANG is first Goa based software company that has opened its office in the Silicon Valley.
