Everybody wants to be in Goa at least once in their lifetime, but at what cost, it depends on each aspirant. Here, in this case, the two youth from Bangalore with Goa dreams ended up into the police lockup. What happened? Read the complete story here… 

There is much reason as to why people want to come to Goa, and it varies from person to person. Some come for the alcohol while others come in a search of massage parlors and yet some come for playing in casinos, but here the case is bit different.

According to the reports these duos came down to Goa multiple time for drugs burgling the multiple houses in Bangalore.      

According to the report published in the Times of India Two youths, with Goa dreams had allegedly burgled houses and committed thefts in PG accommodations in Whitefield and other south-east localities of Bengaluru, to come down to Goa for the fun trip.

The sources have further stated that the duo arrested by the Goa Police became friends while doing drugs and used the proceeds from the robbery to make fun trips to Goa. The police said the duo are addicted to Ganja.    

Bellandur police have recovered stolen booty worth Rs 20 lakh, 12 laptops and 32 mobile phones from Vijay, 24, of Malur in Kolar district and Surya alias Psycho Surya, 22, a resident of Hassan.

According to the Bengaluru police, Vijay was an autorickshaw driver in Chandapura area and Surya was doing some odd jobs in the same area.   

“They were addicted to ganja and became close friends. They began burgling houses in the wee hours to arrange money to buy ganja. Later, they expanded their operations. They targeted PG accommodations where most of the inmates used to keep the main doors unlocked. They also committed burglaries at several houses in Parappana Agrahara and Bellandur area,” said the sources.       

Police arrested Vijay last week and based on his inputs, Surya was taken into custody on Saturday. The duo sold most of the stolen gadgets in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. “With their arrest, we’ve solved over 12 cases reported in Bellandur, Parappana Agrahara, Attibele, and Anekal police stations,” cops said.
