Finally, amidst the Covid-19 crises, Sunburn has decided to make comeback to Goa and the early bird tickets for the same will be going online from 4th November 2020. The Percept company who owns and organizes the Sunburn has made the announcement of Sunburn Goa 2020. Here is all you need to know about the festival and its SOP… 

According to the reports, the EDM festival will take place in Goa between 27 to 29 December this year. The tree days festival said to be following all the SOP norms and social distancing by reducing the capacity to 20% of the audience. 

The Sunburn festival is considered to be Asia’s most popular Electronic Dance Music (EDM)  Festivals and the same will take place at Vagator in North Goa on 27,28 and 29 December, said the report.   

The festival will also follow all the SOPs laid down by the State Government like Social Distancing, use of masks, and use of the Arogya Setu App. The capacity of the festival audience has also reduced to 20% of the venue capacity.  

Here Are The SOP Rules For COVIS-19 This Year

  1. Use of Arogya Setu App will be Mandatory at the Festival Venue 
  2. The entry to the venue will include the temperature check, Sanitisation, and Security frisking 
  3. Wearing of the Masks will be compulsory throughout the festival
  4. The COVID test may be needed if the state government imposes the same. 
  5. The social distancing will have to be maintained all the time and in General Category there will be multiple sections of 50 persons each with markings for the people to maintain the physical distance. 
  6. The VIP section will have their own private, designated space and once you enter the section you need to remain there throughout the day. 
  7. Entry inside the venue will be permitted as per the time slots selected and no crowding at the gate, F&B area and toilets will be allowed.  

Wristbands won’t be provided this year, nor will there be a box office on the day of the event. Those interested must book their tickets at least a week before the festival. The tickets will be delivered to the address entered during booking.

The line-up is not out yet, but tickets go on sale from 4 November. This year, only festival tickets will be available, no day-wise tickets. VIP tickets will be available in pods of 4, 6, and 8. Diamond and platinum (VVIP) tables will be available in pods of 8, 10, 12, and 15.

Goa COVID-19 Quarantine Rules

Currently, travelers to Goa do not require to present the negative COVID certificate, nor they required to test or quarantine on arrival. While shacks on beaches have yet to reopen, bars and restaurants are operational across the state following COVID protocols.
